  • Your work sector (for example, we use information from you to assignappropriate specialist linguists to your work).

Where you consent (through signing an agreement with us) we process your personal data (including sensitive data) which has been or is in the future obtained by the Company and it may be held and processed by any Group Company (and where necessary its agents or appointed third parties) either by computer or manually for any purpose relating to the administration, management and operation of carrying out the work which you entrust to us, or in relation to the Company’s legal obligations or business needs. This means we may use information you share with us, or information that we collect from professional bodies where you are listed for work purposes where we have a legitimate interest. 

We do not share or sell your information to other companies for profit. We do share your information with third parties, to carry out our contractual obligations to you, for example, we share your financial information with our accountants for processing payments. We also share your information with any relevant body should you request us to (for example, if you ask us for a reference). We will not share your information without your consent (for example, we will not include your name as reference in a tender application without your consent). You may withdraw your consent for us to use your information at any time by contacting us at 

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored on our secure server. 

We keep your personal, financial and contractual information for the time you are working with us and for 7 years (or more if legally required to do so), after you inform us that you wish to stop working with us. We will then dispose of your information by deleting your data from our database and contact lists. 

We delete your contact details from our active client database as soon as you inform us that you no longer wish to work with us. Financial and contractual records are kept separately and securely and these will be held in compliance with accounting practice laws and regulations and then deleted.

Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
